Save the Dates and Important Updates
We don’t yet know when the pause will be lifted in Michigan. Right now we’ll plan for basketball starting back up after December 8th as scheduled. To help prepare for that we will schedule two upcoming virtual Zoom meetings. Dates & times are below with Zoom links to follow shortly.
Monday November 30 from 6:30pm-7:30pm

Please read the important note below about due dates!
MHSAA indicates that due dates for the items below will likely not change with the exception of submitting your season schedules. Take the opportunity of the delayed start to the season to go through the items below and address them as needed.
Member in Good Standing (Submit Form & Payment Before Thanksgiving)
To be a Member in Good Standing (MIGS) with an Approved Association, officials must be up to date on association dues and attend 50% of the association meetings. This is not new this year, but has been stressed by the MHSAA. Since we will not be meeting in person, you may fill out a registration form by clicking on the following link and mailing it and payment to:

Rules Meeting (Due Thursday 12/10/20)

Submit a Season Schedule(s) (Due Tuesday 12/1/20 – May Be Extended)
If you work both boys and girls basketball, you will need to submit TWO different schedules. Don’t forget to select which Zone you primarily work in. For almost all of us, it will be Zone 3.

Basketball Officials Exam (Due Thursday 12/10/20)
Please remember to log into the MHSAA Officials Services page under Exams to complete it. It’s available to complete now. Once you start it though, you must finish it. We recommend reviewing a pdf copy first and/or waiting until our exam review meeting on December 7th.

Availability and Conflicts (Due Thursday 12/10/20)
List any dates you cannot officiate in the post-season and/or any school(s) that you have a conflict of interest with.
